    Mooloolaba New Year??

    Heading down the Sunny Coast tomorrow and wondering if it's worth dragging the 12ft tinny down with all the fresh water about. Not sure if it's big enough to go out in the open chasing mackies. Any Ideas???

    Can't help with an on-the-spot opinion (I'm in bundy) - but surely it's better to take it and not be able to use it rather than the opposite isn't it?

    Can't speak for Mooloolaba but the Maroochy should be fishable between the black banks and the mouth from tomorrow... You may as well hitch it on.

    Flea (son) and myself are going to headu p to Caloundra tomorrow and have a fish in the passge and see what might be around. If I were you I would take the boat.
