Finally got out for another fish this morning after having to abort the last couple of sessions due to wild weather. Got to the beach around 6:30am, wasn't expecting much as the water had a lot of fresh in it and the wind was still strong.
After about an hour of scoring only very small dart my luck changed and I started to get a couple of whiting. Bite was pretty good for about an hour and then petered out (along with my bait). Tried to get some more worms but could hardly find any, not sure why but it has been like that for the last couple of weeks - I guess the rain has had an effect.
Final tally was 5 keepers. Hopefully I'll get a couple more sesions before the rain returns.
