    Snapper time

    G'day

I have just recently taken up soft plastic fishing. I was always keen on the idea but i struggled to let go of my old and proven techniques until i was confident it was goimg to be succesful. The problem is that I was getting bored of doing the same old thing so it was time to check out the other options. After asking a million questions and doing alot of research i finally invested in a soft plastic outfit and headed out to sea with no bait, just plastics.

It took a bit of getting used to and alot of trial and error but its finally starting to pay dividends. In the last two weeks i have caught these 3 good snapper on soft plastics . They range in size from 7-8 kilos.

I am very happy and cant wait to hit the water to try it over and over again.
What day of the week is it?

Good onya mate, nice fish there.

I havent looked back since I made the switch a couple of years back.

Better quality fish, and less bycatch I have found. And no bait mess.

    Cheers,
    Myles

Don't know why that is, I never sleep very well if at all the night B4 I go out. You have the condition there is no cure for, except to go fishing

    Re: Snapper time

restless sleep and the bloody fruit bats sounded like they were having a threesome outside my bloody window all night didnt help either.

The end result today was one small wahoo. Flying fish everywhere on the 32's. No luck on the snapper today.

Gunna try and do it all again on Sunday

Nigelr - Nucluer chooks were the main culprit again. Curried chicken works well also.
