I have tried twice to send a private message to boatman2 and have been advised that he is not a member.I have checked the member list and he is definitely there on the list.,directly below boatman. How can I get this message through?

find him on the member list and then click on his name opening him up then on the right hand side click send a pm to

I think you need a certain number of posts before you can PM someone.
Type some gibberish and get your post count up.
