    Bowen and lucinda

    Hey fellas
Im wonding if anyone could give me a little info on fishing bowen and lucinda.
Last year we hit up stanage bay and would have loved to go back again this year but a mate was in a serious motorbike accident earlier this year so im looking at going to bowen and lucinda this year with my own boat.

I have a 4.75m seajay haven sports side console with a yammy 4stroke and gear to do almost every sort of fishing.
I just wondering when is the best time of year to fish these areas? For good species and better weather.
What are the ramps like ?
What is the creek or lake fishing like if the wind is up ?
Where is the best area to camp?
Any info on the fishing and gps starter marks would be fantastic .

Any help would be muchly apreciated

    cheers scott

    Re: Bowen and lucinda

lucinda is one of my fav spots in qld heaps of options from the beach to the jetties, the reef is only 22 miles offshore, and hincinbrook is right there with good fishing on the inside and outside. camp at the caravan park when we were there cabins were mreally cheap and quite adequate. u can walk to the small jetty from the park where u can catch anything. the ramp at dungeness is only a few k's up the road and its a good ramp with a little jetty beside it. go and buy yourself the north australian fish finder book for info on fishing spots, it is the bible. make sure u have a go at night trolling big deep divers along the jetty for legendary metre long fingermark!!!!!
