    Thready's in the floods

Went out a few days ago in the flooding river, a lot of timber floating down and random debree. Water was quite dirty we had little to zero hope but ended up with 4 threadfin, 2 each. Ranging from 80-95cm.

Used TT 1/2once swtichblade for three of them and one of the 80's fell for a threadybuster.

    Nice session!

4 after the floods is a great result - strange fish hey you'd think they'd all have pissed off in current conditions. What was even stranger was fishing the other day with peak flow incoming tide, but the water was running out instead!! The amount of fresh coming down is just astounding at the moment.

Here's to some good bloody weather soon!

Cheers guys, yes merry Christmas to you too Pete.

Yeah Lee, their was quite a bit of shit coming down, pic doesn't do it justice. Was a fun ride back to the ramp missing all the tree stumps

Good to see a pair of brave boys getting out in the dirty water and actually scoring a few and on those vibes with such dirty crappy water filled with logs. I have had no luck with em in the bay in clearer water so dirty it is eh. Good job and have a erry chrissy and holidays and i do hope it clears for a few hours even. Cheers DD...

    Congratulations Stotty,

Nice threadfin salmon, never caught one of those, but was told they are excellent eating if cooked the right way, don't know about that either , never had one to taste so can only go on what the old bloke said.

I had a hunch one could catch tailor in dirty water as they like to ambush their prey but did not know about old thready.

Well done , how long did it take you to land it?

All the best for the new year.
