Bustard head seems to be good for spanish but really haven't talked to anyone that has done that well on the bottom but just like anywhere, keep an eye on your sounder while travelling as this is where you will find new ground and better places to fish. This is only my opinion though and hope this helps.

P.S Fitzroy reef has a protected lagoon if your keen. It's about a 65km run from round hill creek and musgrave also has a protected lagoon which is about 6okm's. Great places to pull up overnight but only if you have the fuel capacity. Look on the eastern side of these reefs for bommies while travelling (having your sounder on zoom will help pick these up) for Trout, lippers etc. I have a 4.8m center console and would take it out there overnight on a goof forecast.
