Went out yesterday for a go at the Macks in the inner reefs at Noosa, there was some bird activity to start off around the Jew Shoal which looked promising but failed on small slugs, a boat near to us hooked up on a decent mack doing the same, we later moved to Sunshine reef and soon caught a Spottie and a School Mack on floating pillies, it seemed to shut down soon aftere with the winds around the 15knots marks so we made and early day of it with a feed each. Looks like it will be a promising season up this way there were large numbers of Tuna smashing around but after trolling through around and near nothing.
