    EVA

    What the best way of cutting this stuff? I was thinking about a band saw.
    my blocks are 50x50mm

    A band saw is fine for blocks. Even a drop saw if you have a fine blade in it. If you have cylinders, then some size C or D thread works fine to get a nice straight cut using a lathe to turn the EVA.

    I knew that about the thread.....but yes the drop saw is looking good right about now..

    Ok the drop saw worked well Now what the best glue to stick it all together......

    I use contact cement.

    Selley's Quik Grip works for me. Make sure you leave it for about 10-15 minutes so it is touch dry before sticking the pieces together.

    Thanks Mark,
    Had thought about Quik grip but just didnt know if it might leave a brown glue line down the joins. Owen emailed me and said thats what he uses, just to put a thin layer on and push together tight.

    re eva; I use a product from bunnings called vise recently its a waterproof urethane.500ml $19 worked a treat.
