So finally after 4 long weeks of owning the new rig, my brother an i got the chance to get the boat wet with some saltwater, We ventured from scarby harbour bout 4.30am sat morning an jigged a rather large amount of slimies from the becons off tanga. the current was a little strong but dropped anchor on curtain bout 7.30am an within 20min both landed our first kingys for "ourselves an the new rig". both shakin an pumped for wat felt like a great day ahead we only managed a decent cod about 65cm until we decided to call it a day an head home!
Cant wait to get out again an hopefully some macs or wahoo next time
P.S if i can work out the phone ill try to post the pics!
