    Reds and Sharks

Couple of videos from the last trip, excuse the dodgy quality.

Knowing me and the crew there may be the old f word in there, if you don't want to hear it turn the sound off

Great vids Anthony...its a hard life isnt it mate ...glad the fish and the weather read the rule book that day.
Im hoping those flies i got will work on the Dhu fish over here in WA...its also snapper season (they follow the crays in) fingers crossed to catch a feed for Christmas.

Nice vids, mate. Great Reds as usual. Great effort getting the first shark up - looked like a sandbar whaler, and they go hard!

Fishing can be defined as "A jerk on one end of the rod, waiting for a jerk on the other".
"Fishing was around along time before you darling"

The weather was actually better the previous day and we only put one fish in the esky for the whole day. The conditions you see on this video were the best couple of hours for the day, the rest of the day it was sloppy with a 10-15 knot southerly blowing most of the day.

For the Dhu fish (similar to a pearly on steriods?) and the Snapper, get some bucktooth jigs, they are dealy on those two species over here. What depth do you chase them in?

Another great vid mate. Well done. Do you find any season better than others as your posts seem to be pretty consistant year round. Have you got any Pelagic type fly/weapons on the drawing board?

    Cheers Jason

From what ppl over here have told me 20 metres and over you're in with a good chance to catch both the Snapper and Dhu. Broken ground using anything and everything from plastics to livies...octopus tentacles (lightly weighted). Its a learning game thats for sure.
Its cray season over here atm...and the Snapper and Dhuies follow the crays so
we'll give it a go...post the results (fingers crossed)
