After a top yr on the jew it was time to turn things around, pretty happy with this fish, my new smallest river jew
he smashed the lure pretty hard and fought as well as you would expect a 30cm model to, didnt pull a click of drag. gave him a new fisheries tag and sent him on his way.
Thats some MONSTER hooks you have there and a teeny jew!
Yeh mate, been chasn the giants lately with some good success so when this little one jumped on made it all the funnier

Nice one BB. There are certainly a few around atm. I will have to get into this tagging thing somehow. Any advice on where to start? Nearly all the fish i catch now I release (except the squire - always room for them in the freezer). Cheers, Rob
