Fishun and Fur

I am spending 2 weeks house-sitting on a mates property while they take a break. Took another mate for a fish today in the creek. What a blast. The cod were hitting lures every couple casts. They were mosly just little tackers but still a heap of fun. Check out the photos - they hit spinner baits as big as them !!! Aggressive buggers.

But there are some better fish there. I look forward to getting into them in another 12 months after they grow a bit. Gave it away as the sun was setting because the bunnies were calling. Mate shot a couple on the drive back up to the house. Fresh bunny in the freezer. Does it get better ?? Gee I am gunna enjoy this holiday !!!!

Great cod fishing in that area , the bigger fish tend to bight better around april when it starts to cool off . Seen any deer ?.

Few deer about last trip in July. None so far this trip. Bit of luck we will find a few goats and pigs. More fishun first though.

Mate's son dropped in to visit so we spent a half hour tossing lures again today. One good fish dropped and one landed and released.

Thanks for the report mate. Nothing better then catching wild Cod and nailing a few ferals. Make sure you post a few pics if you get a few goats or deer.

Just make sure i get roast chicken sangers next trip Pete not fur Bunny sangers well done on the fish mate better than i did on the weekend but have found a nice new couple of spots for us to try next trip up the hiway enjot your trip

Thanks guys. Its sure good fun. Son-in-law went walking early today and got a big pig. Photo is on his phone though. I gotta get outta bed earlier . Yabbieing with the grandkids is the plan today.
