I went out looking for a 4.1 punt a few years back. Settled on the 4.1 Poly due to several reasons. Fully flat floor, Front and rear casting decks with storage, no corrosion, dual 10mm skins give it a soft ride and very stable at rest with no roll, easy to just screw accessories to the hull ... I sold mine for another Poly so I guess I'm biased. I do believe though they are the best overall 4.1 on the market. Go for a ride, it will change your mind.

    IMO............. a Stessl Edge Dingy.

Flat keel with large reverse chines and a nice entry V up front.

Stable as,,,,,, in salt or fresh water.

    I had the 4.1 with a 40 Yammie.

Don't know if they make them anymore.

They're tinnies...why the hell people pay big money for them is beyond me. Mass produced new ones are effectively just spray painted or shiney old ones...with a fancy marketing name to suck in the tv fisho, cpl of stickers and maybe a glossy brochure. Throw some beers at a cpl of magazine guys for a better than good write up, then tell people its somehow new and wonderful design rather than just another tinnie. People get suckered into paying way over what they're truly worth thinking its somehow much better....then spend their time trying to protect a paintjob rather than using it for what they're intended for. You'll catch a heap more fish and have a heap more fun on an older cheaper one coz you'll get it right in there where they are, throw it about, have less maintenance and use it how it was intended.
you could say that about glass boat also..just a bunch of stringers joined by some glass and resin.

    I have a 4.5m brooker..2 pedestal seats..heaps of room
