PB Bass - Thanks to Ausfish!

As a new guy to the freshwater fishing scene here in Australia, i found it rather challenging to get myself into the right spot for fish. Impoundment fish behaviour, river fish behaviour, fish that used to be impoundment and are now river fish behavior, summer season, spawning season - Wow, a lot to learn.

Where i come from you just go down to the local pond or lake in summer and cast lures and catch bass. The aussie angler must be thoughful indeed.

However a bit of reading on Ausfish and some basic exchanges with some regulars and the results are instant. Thanks so much!

This weekend i convinced the girlfriend to drive me around in a rented canoe and we found fish .

A new pb bass at 44 cm to the fork and 48 to the tips.

nice one mate. i have to thank the ausfish members to as i just moved to qld and thanks to them have had success. Just yesterday got a nice jew and bag of redclaw from somerset thanks to these guys where as i was just about to give up. Local knowledge is the best no matter what.
