Hi Poddy
Should be a good show next year. With all the extra water the fishing should be great, Burrendong has certainy been fishing well of late.
Aadam
Yeah mate its fishing unbelievably well at present! Cricket score catches reported with some thumping out of season bi-catch cod and Yellowbelly in between them! See you at the comp, Regards Matt Hansen
Burrendong now over 150 % and spilling! Its going to be a a great level for the comp! Matt Hansen
Better make sure this competition is sanctioned by Ausfish or they'll delete it quicker than a mangrove jack after a herring..
just talking from experence.
cheers
Mate, its a 100 % NOT FOR PROFIT event with the proceeds going back into re-stocking. AUSFISH have done nothing but support it as it dosn't line the pockets of the organisors, but ensures a future for rec fishing! Last years event has helped us to purchase almost $16,000 worth of fish to be released in FEB 2011, to go with last years $18,000 worth that we have already released! (Both Murray Cod and Yellowbelly)
Hope To see you at ther Lake Burrendong Classic at Easter 2011, Regards Matt Hansen.

Lake Burrendong State Park- 6846 7435
Lake Burrendong State Park today announced a further $2000 sponsership of the event!
Lake Burrendong now at 97%, any guesses as to what percentage full it will be for the easter comp?
Love too get down there myself, but Easter is Snowies time! The Redfin (as mentioned above) are overlooked by most anglers, yet are good eating and good sport. It would be good to see more fisho's targeting the ferals, Reds, Carp and Trout, in the hope of boosting native numbers!
love the sound of this comp, this will be my first fishing comp. count me in, hopfully i can rebuild my canoe before then. il be soft plasticing and trying to catch me my first cod to
Beuty paymetofish! It will be a good time to target a murray cod at Burrendong as well. Matt Hansen
