    logan river bull sharks

headed down to the junction for an afternoons entertainment yesterday, if you like catchin bull sharks, head on down! They are in plague proportions atm

landed this one after about two minutes on strip of mullet left over from the crab pots, another one fifteen minutes later and dropped two of the lighter rod in the interests of gear preservation.

All in all (despite no crabs) a great relaxing afternoon scratching our heads at the numerous boatloads of geniuses that get into the water for entertainment!

Does anyone have a good recipe for bull sharks? also is the limit one per person or one per boat?

had the most success on whole mullet fillets with a 3 gang hook but they had a go at pretty much everything in the water including rotten prawns!

for sharks i use an ugly stik heavy boat rod with a twenty five dollar pre-spooled spin reel and 60 pound steel trace! not very sportsmanlike i know but it allows me to concentrate on other things whilst i get around to tending to what ever has taken that bait!

thanks for tip re photos, i will try that next time!

In QLD, sharks and rays have a max size of 1.5m and a bag limit of 1.
