    Dashmount or Bracket?

Hi all, in the process of setting up a GP7000 Foruno Chartplotter in an Cruisecraft outsider 575, the question is do I dashmount it or instal it using a bracket??

I am seeking peoples views from their experience

i guess it comes down to personal preference, if you got the room it certainly looks better to dash mount, also no cables visible. on the other hand when the time comes to replace the unit you will need to find something to fill the hole or one that will be bigger to cut more out. also you will need to think about the position weather its going to be facing the rite way for your needs.

i personaly like the dash mount but didnt have the room in mine cause of the gauges.

flush mount looks better and more secure ,however you need to have the dash room to fit it that way.
