Radio courses in Brissie over Christmas?

Does anyone know of any radio courses being held in Brisbane over the late Dec/Christmas/early Jan period? Will be down there on holidays and hoping to kill two birds with one stone.

Get in contact with Peter from http://www.vhfradiocourse.com/ they have courses in Dec but I'm not sure if it late or early.

I just did the course online with abc and sat the exam with Peter. Found our about the full day course they do, costs the same as doing the exam and online course so I think it's a better option.

you can just read the marine radio book, then sit the exam with an invigilator ( google it, you will find one near you. I think MSQ's site even has a link to them?)

You dont have to do any course if you want to just sit the exam.

Craig.. send me a PM and I'll set you up for a bit of training and the exam.

In the meantime, as merlin said, have a look at www.vhfradiocourse.com. It has all the info you need to do the VHF Radio Licence. read the book, answer the questions and then sit for 15 minutes to do the exam.. It's not rocket science as some make out it to be.
