Going to Tin Can Bay (Don't bother ATM)

Just had 9 day's there with another couple of friend's,,,Fished & crabbed every day bar 1 for 8 keeper fish & not 1 bloody crab..
Even the locals don't know what is going on,,,The pro crabber's can't find the crabs either..
There was a lot of wind & the temps have been down a bit & there has been all that rain as well maybe that was it...
Still a very nice place to go..

Hasn't the wind been a pain....I just got back Sat after a week fishing out of Rainbow Beach. Only able to venture outside the bar 3 days in very ordinary conditions. Found a good haul of pearlies in 40m near Wolf Rock on Thurs but earned them taking a few waves over the bow - one 4m+ breaking on the bar on the way out..... scared the crap out of us. Sunday on the way back in had to tow a bloke from the barges all the way back to Tin Can Bay ramp after he'd broken down in the channel and was well on his way to being swept out with his wife and baby on board!!!.....incredible and barely a thankyou for our effort.

Hoping karma will reward us with better weather next trip - was keen to try the PE Tackle flies but just couldn't get any time out wide enough.
