    sunshine coast

How goods the ramp at mooloolaba coast gaurd?
Thats where ive found myself starting to drop in the boat. Still only new to offshore boating so spending heaps of time close at murpheys reef.mainly catching blacktiped rockcod, grass tuskfish, moses perch I've got 150ltrs of fuel capasity and a 50hp four stroke yamaha on a 5.25 custom alleycraft with plenty of rods so fishing the banks is a goal soon to come, be good to meet people who fish in same area.,, just recently got some new gear and a mate from the commercial industry soughted me a couple boxes of massive pillies from the states and some local fresh spanner crab seconds in case things get boring and i got to test my drag against reef sharks,,

The ramps beside the CG are great but on a 5-10kn day car parks are limited. Get there early and you won't have to park on the street. The Kawana ramp is also a winner (closer to the mouth) but the downside is limited parking space.

    Cheers.
