    squid stanage bay

    does anyone know where to find squid at stanage bay? as this is all my daughter wants to catch

    I have caught a few really big squid on the rocky foreshores south of Stanage Bay. I have not targetted them per se but have caught them trolling lures for macks and trout. I reckon an assault on the foreshores with a selection of jigs will nail plenty.
    It there is a big light over the boat ramp at night these days it would be a very logical high tide at night venue.
