just wondering if anyone could give me some info on high peak and surroundings like weather the beach on the island is acessable for camping what the fishing is like and so on. planning on doing a few nights out there in the next few weeks.
The beach has fringing reef which is very shallow, so entry and exit can only be on the top half of the tide. Beware, there are massive tides up there. The shore is stony coral. Dunno if I would be keen on camping, but have never tried it.
The fishing is very good, but can be hit and miss. For us it was awesome
yeh i have a house at stanage so i know what the tides are like. iv fished out near high peak b4 but never actualy gone ashore. this time im looking to go out the back of high peak in the deep water looking for emperor and nannies, using the main island as a base.
