    loading maps

    hey guys looking for a bit of HELP.
    i have got a hand held garmin gpsmap 76,and the blue chart cartridge and cables for the computer,as i bought these seperatley off different people,im not really shore on how i go about loading the maps onto the gps.
    if anyone can give me a little advice on how to do it,would be greatly appriciated.

    You will need to install the software to your pc and unlock it. Then connect the gps turn it on and look along the menu bar and find "transfer" attempt to receive from your device to verify that all is ok.

    Next go to tools and enable the map tool and move it over the chart untill the area you are interested in is outlined, click on it, the map name will now appear under maps in the status bar on the left of the screen.
    Select all the maps you want, save any way points you want and click Transfer to device.

    You should now have the relevant maps on your gps
