this little bloke jumped on a bait jig out in the middle of the bay, had the thready type whiskers but the rest of him seemed out of whack.Thanks Andrew

As JP said, Putty Nose Pearch. Common in the cast net when chasing Pine River prawns.
is there a size limit and r they any good for eating or bait.? thanks cameron

yes a blind threadie. caught only one in the pine river too. it was quite large, bout 30cm. tasted great.
