Heading out to Callide with kids on the weekend havent been out there for about 8 years.
did the Barra ever recover from that fish kill a few years back??
i assume the redclaw will still be about??
used to get a lot of M+ models back then but have heard it is hard work out there now
any info will be appricated.

Re: Callide Dam Biloela
ended up with about 50 redclaw but they were very patchy.
no barra to be seen, were a few blokes on the water but no one had any luck. still a bit cold maybe.
turles are everywhere, they would hit gulps on the way down or if you worked em to slow. pain in the ass

Re: Callide Dam Biloela
just outta intrest what was the water temp? I think january - febuary and march would be the go when the temps are higher. Been a bit of rain up there to so that would keep the temps down a fair bit..
