    Finnis River - Northern Territory

Took a mate and his barra virgin missues to the finnis fresh for a bit of a poke around on saturday.
Fishing was a bit slow but ended the day with a couple of 60's/just legals and some smaller rats.
The sooties were in plague proportions and Hungry.. really hungry.

After about 11am it got pretty hot and the barra shutdown a bit, they were still there and you could sight-cast to them on the snags but they were totally disinterested in anything we threw at them.
Water temp was up to 32deg. in some of the shallower sections. Not sure it was because of that they were slow or if it was the recent rain/river rise that went on last week.

Only saw one other boat on the water all day which was nice.

    Cheers,
