Question Information on Curtis Island , Port Alma , Ramsays crossing

    Hi all

I'm looking at putting together a estuary fishing trip to Curtis Island (Gladstone) -
I've heard some great things about fishing the creeks up the northern end of the island and so I'm keen to learn more about launching sites and security ..... plus anything else about this area. I could imagine that it could be quite difficult to navigate on the wrong tides and getting access into the creeks and back out.

So , can anyone offer some advice or help

    Cheers

    Chris
Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!

Nagg Ramsays crossing has clamed it"s fair share of props. It is well marked but larger boats have no problems on the high tide.Tinnies half tide up to be safe. There are lots of options all around Curtis and a few wrecks not too far offshore. When do you look like fishing up this way?
