    Nice Blue eye. Bass Groper?

Where did you catch the Bass Groper ? They look similar to Hapuka from the deep canyons I have caught them from.

I'd like a bit of that action also.

Your arms might be sorer...and longer.......
but it is much more satisfying when you get them to the boat ....
knowing you have won the fight under your own steam,

but this is just my opinion,

    Craig,

Nice fish. He might be a smidgeon bigger than mine. I think they might be Bass Grouper after all.

I finally had some choice cuts for dinner tonight - very very good - just pan fried.

I'm up for the competition my friend - the only problem is the little tinny doesn't let me get out there that often.

When you feel like going out again - give me a call. I'll leave the little electric at home and bring the 80w with dacron just for a bit of fun.

Muzz you can along as well if you want - a three way tussle.

Looking forward to the pics Bondy.

hehehehe........Im in....as long as we dont go to the blue-eye grounds,
not even the cat will eat them.

Still want to get you to the cod grounds of Ballina Brett, when we get the chance again......but the 80w aint comin' ,
I think you know my opinion on butcher work,

but all in fun....I love a challenge.

    count me in as well.

For what its worth its a BG. I have caught my share of both species and it defiantly looks like a BG. It doesnt have teh distinctive "bars" and the white stripes muzz "onerabbit" spoke about.

How u been lately Muzz. Did I see correctly that there is a new edition to the family?
