    Square Patch Kingies

Got an invite from a mate from work to do some jigging. Not the most relaxing way to spend a few hours fishing but it produced an interesting session. We got over 20 kingies all bar two were undersize and released. The pic below is Steve and his 12kg model the other one had a run in with a shark. Highlight of the morning was a marlin on a jig on the drop, something i had never seen before, the fight was fairly short on 60 pound with no leader it rubbed through on the second jump.

Marlin on a jig, now that would have made a great story. You just never know what's gonna happen when fishing.

No Wayno. The better part of the morning was spent jigging. Got the odd trag and squire on pillies between stints. That dolly was nice on the table mate hey?
