burrum heads for 2 weeks

Greetings all
Haven't been catching a lot in tingalpa creek lately but am heading up to burrum heads again on monday. will take the 4m quintrex for the first time and having done only shorebased fishing would appreciate a bit of advice re the area.
will probably launch at the ross st ramp and am looking to put in a few pots do a bit of cast netting and of course try and catch something a bit bigger than our creek has to offer. any local knowledge and info on what the fishing is like at the moment wouldn't go astray.
Never know if the fishing is really good may have to go and see the local realestate agent and lookmfor a retirement home (I should be so lucky)

grab the laminated map from the local tackle shop for $3. opposite the ramp is black bank. about 1km upstream is walkers point, youll see the big rocky cliff past the walkers pt ramp. and 400m off the point is the swirls.

those 3 spots will provide plenty of fish, as long as there hasnt been too much rain.
