Thread: Should have stayed at home (Awoonga)

As I said earlier Chris, I reckon you and Lee did OK. At least you got fish!

Everyone seems to have bad luck at one time or another when barra fishing. You should now be OK for the next year or two!

Oh, and rule number 1, empty all of the valuables out of your pockets before you start casting. Odds are that sooner or later you will take a dip (Jas Wilhelm?)...

Yeh Pete ..... It wasn't that bad - it just seemed that way

I must have a thing about Awoonga - It was last year that the 1st spin rod was kicked overboard during the ABT .......... and the year before while prefishing I also chucked a spin outfit into the drink - though I reacted and had empty pockets .
So note to self ...... always empty pockets of phone , keys and wallet.

Give a man a fish & he will eat for a day !
    Teach him how to fish
& he will sit in a boat - & drink beer all day!
