    Goldie Snaps

    Just a quick report.
Have not been out for a while so thought midday yesterday, head out through seaway to spot X.
Just about to go and work rang, come in and load. Quick run into Brisbane and back and off to the water.
Straight up to spot X and out goes the pick, settled on not to bad ground.
Straight away trag start coming in and then bang rod loaded up and about 10 mins later 6 1/2kg snap on board. Half a doz more trag and then bang another snap at 5 kg.
Things went quiet and no more bites so home we come at 8pm.
Current was running at 2kph and had to put on big lead to get down, tried to drift but went quicker than running with motor on, lol.
    Some pics coming later.

It's about time Graeme, your boat would have died of fright to hit the water. How did she go, any problems? If ever I was going to have problems with a boat its after she has not been used for a while.

Conditions would have been perfect as it looks like all this week. Look forward to the photos.

Was a shock for the boat but went like a dream.
The big snap was 82 1/2 cm and the smaller one was 78cm
