Thanks for the tips guys, got some Koyo's for $25 a wheel inc seal, had em in and on the road by 2pm, had 2 flathead by 3.30, home by 5.
They'll be the last Koyo's I buy as well. While I was tapping in one of the small outer cones a tiny bit splinted off. Must have had a fault or something as I was using a brass dolly and didn't hit it that hard, and the bit that splinted off was in the middle of the cones surface and was never touched by the dolly. Ended up using the old outer cone as it was ok. I've done this job maybe a dozen times over the years and it's never happened before.

Noel have you been to SCA lately??? they stock Timken in a kit for all types of trailers. you can gbet the ford type with marine seals for $25 a set.. last set I bought from a bearing supplier were koyo.. they cost me $160 to do 4 wheels

They didnt last any longer than a timken set

My local SCA only keeps the crappy cheap bearings, no quality ones, but I am sure some branches may keep them, I have a bearing place that I pass almost every day and I just call in, pick up what I need (at not much more than the cheap ones) and I am done, mind you, I have used a crap set once when we were on holidays and my mate was towing his boat down the coast, a wheel bearing sh!t itself and it was a sunday, only place open was a discount store, got a chinese bearing and swapped it out, and it is still going almost a year later, but he does repack them very often now!
