but has anyone heard good or bad about these new hyper speed overheads? The Saltiga's are less than $500AUD from USA and the Saltists are less than $300AUD.
Hi Chpper, The size 20 and 30's have been released in the USA and there are a few reports on USA websites. The 35, 40 and 50 sizes are hopefully being released this month, as I have a 2 speed saltiga size 40 on order.
I use the saltist 2 speed 40 for offshore here in Brisbane and think it is a great reel. I had the drag greased and never had an issue with it and has caught some 15kg plus fish.
The price is excellent for what is essentially Diawa's flagship models for saltwater.
