Problems with Humminbird 917 Combo unit
I've had this unit for 18 months now and have been generally very happy with its performance. However, on my last trip out I could only display the fullscreen fish finder screen and all other screens would not work, therefore my biggest concern is I no longer had GPS. I've tried it again since in the backyard and still can't get it to function properly and it's starting to give me the sh*ts.
Has anyone else encountered this sort of problem?
I'm assuming the unit only came with 12 months warranty

Birds have a 12 month international warranty and a two year warranty if purchased through an authorized dealer in au. Check the warranty section on the humminbird au website.

have you checked the diagnostics function on the startup menu. it should give an indication of any failure of your device. If you have a navionics card in pull it out and and try the GPS , maybe downloading any software updates may bring it back in line.
