Activity: ship to ship LPG transfer

Mariners are advised that gas carriers will be involved with ship to ship transfer operations of LPG from the BW AUSTRIA.



The operation will now be conducted in Moreton Bay at STS 1 anchorage, approximate position latitude 27° 17.25'S longitude 153° 16.5'E (equates to a distance of 3.85 nautical miles on a bearing of 067°T from the East Entrance Beacon).

The multiple transfer operations are scheduled to commence 6 October 2010 and expected to continue until 1 December 2010.

During the transfer operations all other vessels are excluded from entering within one nautical mile radius of the transfer operation.
