    hobie outback or peekaboo angler

    hi,
i have always liked the hobie and was set on getting one shortly but have just discovered the peekaboo angler. i like the idea of the electric motor which will give me the option to go a bit further but is it really better than the pedal power of a hobie. i thought i had my mind made up but now there is a spanner in the works. just looking for peoples experiences/opinions on either of these craft
    cheers

we have a hobie outfitter twin and very happy with it. The pedalling is easy..can cover quite a few k's relatively easily.
I have seen a peekaboo but not been in one so i cannot comment on it.

      Gday Ragman,
we have a twin Hobie Outfitter aswell i would go back on my choice and i did look around and ask questions aswell. Did you know hobie have quiet a few options with electric motors aswell and to be honest i dont think you need an out board unless you were doing some serious yaking

I am also buying the hobie outback ,i went for a ride on my mates revolution and outback and the outback is the go for me way easy to cover lots of ks on one . He also has a watersnake electric that fits in where the mirage drive sits ,its a fantastic idea and are just over $500 from a mob in canberra called stealth serpent way easier than the hobie electric version ...matt

fit as a mallee bull Ian, and damn near as big as one.
nothing better than a quiet pedal on the yak.

well ive decided to get a hobie. less hassles to worry about i.e batteries, elec motor playing up. now to try and find a good secondhand outback or revo.
