    Seeking some Bay fishing tips

    Hey Gents.

Basically I am out in the bay every weekend, but only really chase the snapper around the reefs & mud, with plastics.

I would like some tips on catching some other species, especially the schools of tuna you see pop up with the birds. What style or lure is best for these?

What about for trolling? What is a good trolling speed and lures for trolling around the bay? Target Tuna and Mackeral.

One last thing, I have just rigged up a live bait setup but wouldnt know the first thing about catching some live bait. I have caught livies on a bait jig before in a creek at 1770 but thats about it. Anywhere good for a cast net??

I am heading out tomorrow for my last day on a month off. Unfortunately the weather gods arent too happy atm so I will be looking at live baiting/trolling in close to scarborough or surrounding areas. Any tips would be great in order to cap off a very very uneventful month off (spent 3 weeks with problems on the new boat).

    Cheers Fellas.

http://www.coastwatch.com.au/Fishing...VideoData-631/ has videos there on most forms of bay fishing that teach you quite well with setups and how to target different species in the bay.

This is from Rainbow runner , pretty informative on the live baiting side of things.
