First Jack of the Season

Hey all,


With all the storms around thought it would be a good time to try and get a early jack. Only fished for 30 mins inbetween the rain and got this 49.5cm jack. Not a bad start, one of the best coloured fish i've caught.


Also got the snapper the other morning.

In the Brissie river?? Or did you catch the two species in different areas?

That is a nice looking fish.
I am going to set myself a target of catching a Jack this year, it will be a first.
Now I just have to work out how, where and when I am going to do it

Nah 2 different areas. The snapps were in the morning and the jack was in the arvo.

Yer there pretty tricky fish to catch, but awesome fun.
