There is one that looks like it could be worth a look, about 1km from the beach, I would think it would be a decent 1km walk though, probably a fair hike up a dune and back down again, could be fairly marshy too... 24 53 803 153 13 926.
There is a good hole just off rooneys point to have a troll around too, not far off the beach, easy to find.
Our family and friends have eaten heaps of mackeral from Wathumba in our time and never had any problems with CIG, always looked after the fish and bled and gutted them straight away and then straight on ice. I tend not to eat any huge macks though just to be safe. Maybe just luck of the draw who knows?
That's the one I was looking at Anthony. Might brave it and have a crack. I will be taking plenty of food, if I relied on eating what I caught I would probably come back 5kg's lighter!!lol. Looking forward to it heaps, just need the weather to play and it's all go.
