    Whales at the Banana Bank

Returned from Straddie today on the 12.30 ferry.

Out in front of Horseshoe on Peel the ferry slows to a crawl and an unintelligible announcement comes over the PA.
Next thing people crowding the rail.

2 humpbacks having a play about 150 meters south of the ferry.

Bonus end to a Straddie long weekend.

Ohh. I did get some whiting and tailor.

My dictionary defines green as ‘unripe, immature, undeveloped'. Perfect description.

Most political parties are seen as interested in what the voters think, the Greens are seen as thinking the community should be interested in what they think.

AHA! Back and you didn't think I'd spot you, huh?

Did the ferry STOP as it is supposed to within what (?) range of a whale?

    Cheers,
