Don't know how the rest of you spent fathers day, but for me it was an enjoyable day changing the trailer springs . Was just going to do the bearings but on closer inspection I think I would have been stuck on the side of the road somewhere on the way to 1770. Good to go now.

Looking at the forecast, I think I will stick to the original plan to leave Brisbane at about 8.00 - 9.00am, pick up Chong at Maryborough around lunchtime, and head on up for a mid/late afternoon arrival. Plenty of time to then unpack, have a few quiet ones, then head to the Tavern for a few more with all you riffraff.

Looking at the long range, that good weather for the weekend is going to wait a couple of days before it turns up. These are for Tuesday and Wednesday next week. So it does look like maybe a close in fishing at the start of the trip, then the reefs for an overnighter or 2 as the week progresses.

Where's Booney? We haven't been called bitch's yet today.

Hey I won a newcastle nights ball the other night, genuine steeden and all. Took it home and gave it to the dog, thats about all its good for.
