Thanks for the report Pete, sounds a bit tough down there. I think I'll stay in my own little pond. Good work on getting the bites and fish Kyle. The good thing is it can only get better next time. cheers scott.

Nice bank pics Pete. That looks like a nice spot to rest the back and grab some lunch, whereabouts is it.
Well done.....again....to Kyle, I'm guessing Kyle is very particular about his retrieve and concentrates hard on doing it exactly so. I cant help but think some of those infinite details is what some of us need to apply a bit more time to.
Must have been quite a sight to see 3 fish come looking for lunch on one lure. once again, well done Kyle, and well done Pete, a good skipper is an important piece of the pie.
Cheers, Rod.
Cheers Roo,
That area is a flooded flat just off the main river about 500m up from the entrance to Two Mile.
We had lunch there on Monday. Felt like we were sitting on a golf fairway with a view!
You're right about Kyle's retrieve. Having said that his last hook-up came when he was 'mucking around' and not really seriously fishing. Surprised the heck out of him!

Pete....I think many of us refer to that as a "Ball Scratcher" strike

Ahh, yes, I know the spot, I made a mental note of that area last trip while we were screaming past heading "up the creek" and looks to have potential for the right water and weather conditions. there is another extensive flats area up near the creek entrance that I want to have an explore around next trip if the current water levels remain. Gotta love Google earth right now....pretty much every bit of bank that is exposed on Google maps is now prime fishing real estate.
Lol, ball scratcher...how many times does that happen
Great idea roo but now ill be on google earth all arvo !! haha
Hey what did Chris (Nagg) do to get banned ?
