Just wondering how other folk are going catching crabs this year. Put our pots out this weekend (like everyone else with floats everywhere) - got 4 nice big sandies and 1 Muddie. Fished in the passage this morning and struggled to get 4 nice bream > 30cm, and 1 flathead at 55cm. Also dropped a massive flathead at the boat (my fault). Beautiful weekend anyway. Just hope the crabs pick up now for the summer. How's everyone else doing with their crab pots? Cheers, Darren

had mine out for muddies got 7 over the weekend all big full crabs .. 6.5 inches was the smallest.will be sandcrabbin next weekend.i think they will start there 1st run around then.

Sandies are worth the effort now after yesterdays result. Muddies have been consistant since June
Looks to be a good start to the crab season then. My sandies were choka full too. Hope it's better than last year. Happy Crabbin folks!
