Lagoon and boat launching area status - Double Island point

Hey guys, the weather looks like it might just play the game on the weekend and I reckon a run up the beach with the old V-sea might be the go, haven't been there since June. We usually launch the boat inside the lagoon and fish the reefs to the NE.

Just wondering if anyone has been there in the last couple of weeks that could tell me the status of the lagoon and the entry and whether or not you can park the vehicle above the high tide mark (you couldn't park where you launch in June - tide came up to the dune base).

Any advice would be great

I was there a month ago by 4 x 4 and we could easily drive right to the point at half tide. The entrance to the lagoon was about halfway along.
