I have actually been to that exact spot, near a place called Hangklip- about an hours drive from Cape Town in South Africa. The bay that this picture was taken at is called False Bay, has 3 islands chokkers full of seals. The shark equivalent of a fast food drive through. If anyone's seen footage of GW's getting airborne and smashing seals, thats a few miles away from wher this photo was taken. The warm Indian current makes it a great place to swim, great rock fishing and good for shark sightings from shore.
Submarines depart for southern ocean excercises from Simonstown naval base (on the other side of this bay), have nicknamed a local shark 'Sub, as the subs have been able to 'ping' on sonar a BIG shark. They know it's not a whale because it never 'sings'...
Photo is legit though.....
