Hot Lips jigs

Update on the making of hotlips jigs.

Purchased two moulds from the States of the popular hotlips jighead from 3/4oz to 3oz and have made up about 30 of each size complete with 3D eyes and powdercoated in super glow.

Have attached bling (krystal flash), which I imported from overseas, to about 30 all up and will be trying each colour combination as soon as I recover from my recent cancer operation.

I gave one each to the skipper of Baitrunner (Craig) and Spot 82(Anthony) during the recent Rainbow Beach comp. Craig nailed a decent snapper with his first drop (see pic attached) but Anthony hooked a big snapper wich he lost due to the 5/0 needlepoint being bent sideways.

Most of the larger size jigs I have fitted with Mustad forged 7/0 hooks.

I will be placing an add in the classified section of Ausfish when I finish attaching the bling.
