    weave

this is a weave that i was going to start 18 mths ago, but now due to the fact i hurt my back it seems i now have the time .. i must thank owen for asking permission from doc ski to allow me to try it.
the rod is the first 1 i had built at the rbw [ a broomstick i believe someone called it]
it had 11 layers and way to many damned threads
    cheers

    Re: weave

    Great job Ian!
You should post it on RBO or bloodydecks.
Doc will get a kick out of seeing that.
    Cheers,
    Owen

    Ian,
Next time I'm down that way we'll have to have a "session"
Once you have a few basic concepts down it's not that hard.
I did a few (badly produced) videos that might help.

The hookup this year was pretty ordinary fish wise. Ian piked out, but the weather was crap so he missed nothing.
    Cheers,
    Owen

    Re: weave

    Mate...well done.
Your braver then me. I've been promising myself to do, I mean try, a weave since that week-end and I still have not built up the nerve.

Well done and it looks great. The resin ramp makes a hell of a difference too I reckon

Are there sparkles in the epoxy or is that just the picture?
I intend on living for-ever....so far so good
