    Thanks fellas,

I'll give the "change angle" a go. I think that'll work.

I've just been away for a week at the Swaines, one of the lads up there had the exact same problem with three or four new Halco lures he bought for the trip. All were around the 190's and he had a mix of depths. Couldn't seem to get them to stay down, even when he changed rod position and distance set from the boat, so he gave up after a few days of tinkering.

Bloody shame when a great Aussie lure like a Halco gets the cheapo job in China and comes back a lemon. Same thing has happened with the last 4 Lively Lures blue pillies I have bought. Just cannot get the bloody things to swim despite all the tuning. Anyone want one cheap?

i would go with samsons advice all the way, ditch the snaps ,wire straight to the lure and drop back further. I also have been putting a large roller swivel between the rear treble andsplit ring, this also helps stay connected to hard mouths (wahoo etc) and seems to keep the lure tracking well. if the lure still dont swim put it in the spare parts bin. Cheers

Sometimes a small tweak of the pull point left or right will fix the problem
